ELECTION BOARD

2.60.010 Election Board.
1. The Election Board shall consist of seven members appointed pursuant to Wis. Stat. § 7.30, unless the Town Board provides for the appointment of additional inspectors. A minimum of seven inspectors shall be required at all presidential elections. The Town Clerk shall have the option of using no less than three inspectors for all nonpresidential elections as permitted by Wis. Stat. § 7.32.
2. Under the authority of Wis. Stat. § 7.30(1), there may be two shifts for election workers on all election days. The first shift shall commence at 6:30 a.m. and end at 1:30 p.m. The second shift shall commence at 1:30 p.m. and end with the completion of all required election day duties that follow the closure of the polls.
3. Subject to the provisions above, the requisite number of election officials may be increased at the discretion of the Town Clerk for any election. However, the number of election officials working at a given election shall always be an odd number. (Ord. 2010-1 § 1; Ord. 2009-12 § 1. 2008 code § 1.10)
