16.20.090 Posting of provisions.
The provisions of this chapter shall be permanently posted at all public access points to navigable waters within the Town of East Troy and shall be filed within the Department of Natural Resources. (2008 code § 12.04(9))
16.20.100 Water safety patrols.
1. A water safety patrol unit shall be established by the Town of East Troy to enforce this chapter and Wis. Stat. Ch. 30 and the rules of the Department of Natural Resources enacted pursuant thereto.
2. Officers patrolling the waters as part of water safety patrol unit may stop and board any boat for the purpose of enforcing this chapter or the provisions of Wis. Stat. §§ 30.50 through 30.80 (inclusive), or any rules promulgated or ordinances enacted under Wis. Stat. §§ 30.50 through 30.80 (inclusive), if the officers have reasonable cause to believe there is a violation of the sections, rules or ordinances or the stopping and boarding of any boat is necessary to conduct a search and rescue operation. 16.20.110 Waiver of provisions.
The provisions of this chapter dealing with Town public boating regulations may be waived in whole or in part by the Town Board as part of the grant of a public amusement permit (or special event permit). Any such waiver shall be in effect only during the hours the amusement is authorized to be conducted, and shall apply only to the applicant, applicant’s agents and employees. (2008 code § 12.04(11))
