2.010 Ornamental Street Lighting System.

The Common Council is empowered to provide for the construction, maintenance, and operation of an ornamental street lighting system on any street or public ground within the City, and to provide for defraying the cost of the same. Such cost may be paid in whole or in part from the general fund of the City or from special assessments levied on the property benefitted in such proportion and according to such method as the Common Council shall determine.
