16.370 Enforcement and Penalties.

(1) Enforcement. The Director of Building Inspection, and the Director’s designated certified representatives, are hereby authorized and directed to administer and enforce all provisions of this chapter.

(2) Penalties. Any violation of any provision of this chapter shall be punishable by a forfeiture of not less than $20.00 and shall not exceed $2,000 for each violation. Each day of a violation shall be considered a separate offense. In addition, the Director of Building Inspection may refuse to issue any Building Permit upon failure to provide the required information. The Department of Building Inspection shall also be authorized to seek injunctive relief or any other appropriate relief for the enforcement of this chapter.
