31.050 General Rules of Interpretation and Definitions.

(1) General Rules. General rules of interpretation are set forth in Chapter 19 MMC.

(2) Words and Phrases not Defined. Unless specifically defined in this section, words and phrases used in this chapter shall be interpreted so as to give them the meaning they have in common usage and to give this chapter its most reasonable application.

(3) Words and Phrases Defined. For the purpose of this chapter, certain words and phrases are defined in Appendix B and shall have the meaning ascribed to them, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning.
