31.490 Feather Signs.

In addition to the requirement set forth in MMC 31.210 and 31.220, feather signs shall be subject to the following restrictions.

(1) No more than one feather sign may be located on a parcel.

(2) A feather sign must be securely weighted or otherwise designed to not shift, move, or topple over in the wind or present a hazard to the public.

(3) A feather sign may not be located within or nearer than three feet of the right-of-way.

(4) A feather sign may not be located on vacant property.

(5) A feather sign shall not exceed 11 feet in height and two feet six inches in width.

(6) The area of a feather sign shall count toward a parcel’s total supplemental signage allotment.
