CITY POWERS

1.20.010 Designated.
The city shall have all the powers, functions, rights and privileges, franchises and immunity of every name and nature whatever, which a city of the first class may bear under the Constitution and laws of the state. (Ord. 88-7 §3(part): Ord. 84-11 §3; Ord. 78-11 §3(part): prior code §1.16.010(a))
1.20.020 Transfer of powers.
A. The transportation system powers are transferred to the North Slope Borough.
B. The garbage and solid waste collection and disposal services and facilities powers are transferred to the North Slope Borough. (Ord. 92-02 §5; Ord. 91-20 §5)
