MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT

There is created a maintenance department for the city. The supervisor of the maintenance department is the head of this department. (Ord. 94-08 §4(part))
2.27.020 Supervisor – Appointment.
There shall be a maintenance department supervisor who shall be appointed by the mayor for an indefinite term. (Ord. 94-08 §4(part))
2.27.030 Supervisor – Duties.
A. The supervisor, subject to the supervision and control of the mayor, shall direct the maintenance and upkeep of all municipal buildings, playgrounds, parks, cemeteries, municipal reserves and other real property. Maintenance and upkeep shall include overseeing the removal of abandoned vehicles, property and refuse from municipal property pursuant to Chapter 8.04, Removal of Abandoned Vehicles, Property and Refuse.
B. The supervisor, subject to the supervision and control of the mayor, shall direct the maintenance and upkeep of all municipal vehicles and equipment. (Ord. 94-08 §4(part))
