FIREWORKS

8.08.010 Sale or use.
A. The offering for sale, exposure for sale, use or explosion of fireworks is prohibited within the city limits.
B. Fireworks for community display for special events may be allowed only after a permit is approved by the city council. The supervisor for fireworks for community display must also inform the fire chief, borough fire department, and must be knowledgeable with AS 72, State of Alaska Regulation of Fireworks. 8.08.020 Enforcement.
Authority is granted to the borough public safety officers to enforce this chapter. (Ord. 88-7 §3(part): Ord. 82-4 §3)
8.08.030 Violation – Penalty.
Violation of this chapter is an infraction punishable by a fine of up to three hundred dollars. (Ord. 88-7 §3(part): Ord. 84-20 §7)
