The elected officers of the City are the Mayor and four Councilmembers. (Ord. 611 § 2, 2004).

2.06.050 Municipal elections.
A. Pursuant to Sections 1301 and 10403.5 of the California Elections Code, the date of the general municipal election of the City of Calistoga, California, is moved from the first Tuesday after the first Monday in March of each odd-numbered year to the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November of each even-numbered year.
B. In accordance with Elections Code Sections 1301 and 10403.5(d), because of the change of election date, the terms of office of those members of the City Council presently serving whose terms would previously have expired in April 2005, shall instead continue in their offices until not later than the fourth Tuesday after the day of the November 2004, general municipal election.
C. In accordance with Elections Code Section 10002, the Napa County Board of Supervisors is requested to provide the mailed notice to registered voters within the City of Calistoga required by Elections Code Section 10403.5(e). (Ord. 601 §§ 1, 2, 3, 2004; Ord. 502, 1994).
