SCOPE AND PURPOSE

20.10.200 Scope.
The city development code is applicable to the planning, design, development, improvement, construction, repair, maintenance, operation and use of all real property, both public and private, within the city except for such activities as are exempt from regulation by this city. 20.10.400 Purpose.
It is the purpose of this city development code to guide and control the development of the city in a sound and efficient manner in order to create and maintain a safe, healthy, productive, attractive and balanced community environment. (Ord. 346 § 1 (part), 1972)
20.10.600 Fees.
Expenses will be incurred by the city in reviewing the various applications hereinafter provided for. In order to defray the cost of reviewing the various applications required to be submitted, the city council may adopt a comprehensive fee schedule applicable to all development authorized and provided for under and as part of this development code. The city council action may be by resolution. (Ord. 452 § 1, 1973)
