The following street intersections are central traffic intersections:
A. The intersection of “L” and Tulare Streets;
B. The intersection of East Tulare and “K” Streets;
C. The intersection of West Tulare and “M” Streets;
D. The intersection of North “L” and Fresno Streets. (Prior code §§ 6421, 6422, 6423, 6424, 6425)
10.20.020 U-turns prohibited.
No vehicle shall be turned at any time at any street intersections mentioned in Section 10.20.010, in a complete circle or in such manner as to proceed in the opposite direction upon the street upon which said vehicle is traveling at the time of entering the intersection. (Prior code § 6411)
10.20.030 Sign erection.
It shall be the duty of the chief of police, on the effective date of the ordinance codified in this chapter, to erect at the right-hand side of the street, at or near each of the entrances to each of the intersections designated in Section 10.20.010, an appropriate metal sign bearing the words “No U-Turns.” (Prior code § 6412)
10.20.040 Penalty for violation.
The penalty for violations of this chapter shall be as prescribed in Section 1.16.010. (Ord. 505 § 2 (part), 1973: prior code § 6413)
