MISCELLANEOUS DRIVING RULES

10.24.010 Crossing fire hose.
No vehicle shall be driven over any unprotected hose of a fire department when laid down on any street or private driveway to be used at any fire or alarm of fire, without the consent of the fire department official in command. (Ord. 16 § 100, 1949: prior code § 10323)
10.24.020 Driving through funeral processions.
No driver of a vehicle shall drive between vehicles comprising a funeral procession while they are in motion and when the vehicles in such procession are conspicuously so designated. (Ord. 16 § 101, 1949: prior code § 10324)
10.24.030 Clinging to moving vehicles.
Any person riding upon any bicycle, motorcycle, coaster, roller skates or any toy vehicle shall not attach the same or himself to any moving vehicle upon any roadway. (Ord. 16 § 102, 1949: prior code § 10325)
10.24.040 Driving vehicles on sidewalks prohibited.
The driver of a vehicle shall not drive within any sidewalk area or any parkway except at a permanent or temporary driveway. (Ord. 16 § 103, 1949: prior code § 10326)
10.24.050 Driving on new pavement prohibited.
No person shall ride or drive any animal or any vehicle over or across any newly paved or freshly painted marking in any street when a barrier or sign is in place warning persons not to drive over or across such pavement or marking, or when a sign is in place stating that the street or any portion thereof is closed. 10.24.060 Restricted access.
No person shall drive a vehicle onto or from any limited access roadway except at such entrances and exits as are established by public authority. (Ord. 16 § 105, 1949: prior code § 10328)
