The purpose and intent of this chapter is to establish citywide objective design standards for multiple-family residential and mixed use residential development projects, which are based on the city’s established character, aesthetics, and high quality of the built environment, and that are measurable, verifiable, and knowable to all parties prior to project submittal. 9-41.020 Applicability. Revised 5/24
The objective design standards established herein apply to the development or substantial improvement of any duplex, multiple-family dwelling, residential condominium, or mixed use development project featuring a combination of residential and other uses. All such development shall be subject to the Laguna Hills Objective Design Standards Manual (the “manual”), which is on file with the City Clerk, and which is incorporated by reference into this section as if fully set forth herein.
