OUTSIDE BURNING

8.11.010 Prohibition of all burning within incorporated city limits.

Outside burning of all kinds within the incorporated limits of the city of Lakeport is prohibited. The following exceptions shall apply:

A.    Cooking of food products using an appropriate barbecue on public or private property; and

B.    Fire department/district training exercises that include burning of a building or other structure when under the supervision of fire chief or his/her designee, and in compliance with applicable air pollution regulations.

Violation of this section shall constitute an infraction and shall be punishable in accordance with Section 1.08.010(C) of this code. (Ord. 817 §1, 2002)
