INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY

2.25.010 Established – Board of Directors.
(A) The City Council declares that there is a need for an industrial development authority within the City and that the Industrial Development Authority of the City (hereinafter “the Industrial Development Authority”) shall function forthwith pursuant to by-laws to be approved by the Board of Directors of the Industrial Development Authority.
(B) The City Council declares itself to be the Board of Directors of the Industrial Development Authority, pursuant to Government Code Section 91523. (Ord. 1061 §§ 2, 3, 1995)
2.25.020 Board of Directors – Compensation.
The City Council determines that the sum of $30.00 per meeting shall be paid to each Director for each meeting of the Industrial Development Authority, as compensation for serving on this additional governmental body. (Ord. 1061 § 4, 1995)
2.25.030 Officers appointed.
The City Council appoints the Mayor as chairman of the Board of Directors; the Mayor pro tempore as vice chairman of the Board of Directors, to perform the duties of the chairman during his absence or disability; and the terms to be served by the Directors of the Industrial Development Authority shall correspond to the terms so served as members of the City Council.
