10.36.010 Restricted.
It is unlawful for the engineer or operator of any railway engine, train or car to stop or cause the same or permit the same to be stopped in the city in such a manner as to prevent the use of any street for purposes of travel for a period of time longer than five minutes. (Ord. 258 § 1, 1974).
10.36.020 Duty to move during fire.
In the event of a fire alarm being sounded in the city, it shall be the duty of the engineer, brakeman, switchman and/or other operator of a railway train being operated in a manner to prevent the use of any street for purposes of travel in the city to move or brake the train in such a manner as to permit the passage of fire engines and other fire fighting equipment of the city. (Ord. 258 § 2, 1974).
10.36.030 Penalty for violations.
Any person violating any provision of this chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine of not exceeding five hundred dollars, or by imprisonment not to exceed ninety days or by both such fine and imprisonment. (Ord. 258 § 3, 1974).
