6.06.010 Prohibition of family Felidae.

It shall be unlawful for any person to keep, possess, place, store, contain, house or maintain custody of, or board, or for any person to permit another or to assist another in keeping, possessing, placing, storing, maintaining, controlling, housing, keeping custody or boarding any kind or breed of any live cat (family Felidae) except house cats (Felis domesticus) in any area of the City of Sausalito. 6.06.020 Violation as an infraction.

Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter is guilty of an infraction as provided in Section 19.6 of the Penal Code and, upon convictions thereof, shall be punished by a fine not exceeding $100.00 for a first violation; a fine not exceeding $200.00 for a second violation within one year; and a fine not exceeding $500.00 for each additional violation within one year.
