9.30.010 Regulation of use of Shorefox property.

(a) The Shorefox property is the parcel of real property owned by the town and located generally north and west of U.S. Highway 34 within the boundaries of the town.

(b) Regulation of Trails. The board of trustees or its designee is authorized to post signs governing the use of trails including but not limited to:

(1) Bicyclists must yield to pedestrians;

(2) Carry in, carry out;

(3) Clean up after pets;

(4) No smoking or fires;

(5) No alcohol;

(6) No motorized vehicles;

(7) Limiting hours of use;

(8) No horses;

(9) Dogs must be on leash at all times.

(c) Regulation of Parking Areas. The board of trustees or its designee is authorized to post signs governing the use of parking lots including but not limited to:

(1) No overnight parking;

(2) Limiting the hours of parking;

(3) No alcohol;

(4) Clean up after pets;

(5) Pets must be on leash at all times.

(d) The Regulation of Ponds. The board of trustees or its designee is authorized to post signs governing the use of ponds including but not limited to:

(1) No swimming in Pond A;

(2) Must have valid Colorado fishing license;

(3) Limit two fish per person;

(4) Permit from town required for watercraft; watercraft only permitted on Pond B;

(5) No pets in water;

(6) No smoking or fires;

(7) No alcohol.

(e) Penalty. It shall be unlawful for any person to violate the regulations governing the use of the Shorefox property, including but not limited to those indicated by signs clearly posted on Shorefox property. The violation of this section shall be punished by a fine not exceeding the penalty assessment as provided for by GMC 1.05.090. Every day any violation of this section continues shall constitute a separate offense. [Ord. 891 § 1, 2018; Ord. 853 § 1, 2016].
