FLORISTS

5-42-010 License required.
No person shall do business as a florist without first having secured a license therefor. Any person engaged in the business of selling flowers, shrubs or ornamental plants at retail shall be construed to be a florist. (Prior code § 5-23-1)
5-42-020 Application.
Applications for a license to do business as a florist shall be made in writing to the clerk, and must state thereon the nature of the business and the proposed location. (Prior code § 5-23-2)
5-42-030 Fee.
The license fee for doing business as a florist shall be as laid out in Chapter 3-01, Fees, Fines, Insurance and Guarantee Requirements. (Ord. 3494 § 2(B), 2024; prior code § 5-23-3)
5-42-040 Regulations.
No owner or operator of a florist shop shall permit any dead or dying vegetation to remain in or upon the premises so as to cause noxious or disagreeable odors. (Prior code § 5-23-4)
