15-52-010 Duty to place address number on buildings.
It shall be the duty of the owner, agent or person in possession of any building within the city to place thereon the number indicating the address thereof, in the manner provided in this chapter. (Ord. 2083 § 1, 1976)
15-52-020 Composition and size of address figures.
Each number shall consist of figures of every number or numbers of the common address of said building and said figures on any building shall be no less than three inches in length and on any store or place of business shall not be less than four inches in length. (Ord. 2083 § 4, 1976)
15-52-030 Placement of address figures—Building entrances.
A. All such figures shall be placed in a conspicuous place on or near the entrance or entrances to the building to which they are to be attached.
B. On all places of business where awnings are used on the street level story of the building, such figures shall also be displayed in a conspicuous place on such awning. (Ord. 2083 § 3, 1976)
15-52-040 Placement of address figures—Garage.
In addition to placing the numbers on the entrances in accordance with Section 15-52-030, there shall be placed on the rear of every garage every number or numbers of the common address of said building and said figures on any building shall be no less than three inches in length and shall be fully visible from the alley. (Ord. 2083 § 4, 1976)
15-52-050 Placement of address figures—Apartments or rooms.
In addition to placing the numbers in accordance with Sections 15-52-030 and 15-52-040, there shall be placed on the door of every apartment or rented room or leased room within any building, the number or letter of each said apartment. (Ord. 2083 § 5, 1976)
15-52-060 Violation—Penalty.
Any person being the owner, occupant, agent or person in possession of any building in the city, who shall for thirty (30) days fail or refuse to number any building garage or apartment or rental room or leased room within any building, owned, managed or occupied by said person, in conformity with the provisions of this chapter, shall be fined twenty-five dollars ($25.00) and shall as a further penalty be fined an additional fifty dollars ($50.00) for each additional thirty (30) days thereafter that said person fails or refuses to comply with the provisions hereof.
