GRASS AND WEED PROPERTY MAINTENANCE INSPECTOR

2.33.010 Office created – Appointment.

There is created the office of grass and weed property maintenance inspector, who shall be appointed by the village president with the advice and consent of the board of trustees and who shall hold his office until his successor has been appointed and qualified. (Ord. 2012-16 § 2, 2012)

2.33.020 Duties.

A. The grass and weed property maintenance inspector shall enforce all ordinances containing provisions for the upkeep of property with regards to grass, weeds and shrubbery; he shall make inspection of grass, weeds and shrubbery; and he shall perform such other duties and functions in relation to grass, weeds and shrubbery as may be required by statute or ordinance.

B. The grass and weed property maintenance inspector shall enforce all the rules and orders of the board of trustees and shall attend the meetings of the board when requested to do so by the village president. (Ord. 2012-16 § 2, 2012)

2.33.030 Reports.

The grass and weed property maintenance inspector shall make such reports to the fire chief as may be required. He shall also make recommendations for rulings, orders or ordinances respecting the upkeep of property in relation to grass, weeds and shrubbery whenever he is requested to do so by the fire chief, or whenever he deems it advisable or necessary.
