PROCESSORS AND RECYCLERS

5.116.010 License required.
It is unlawful to operate or carry on the business of scrap metal, aluminum, wood or glass processing, recycling, or separating without first having secured a license therefor. (Ord. 84-6 § 1, 1984)
5.116.020 Application.
Application for such licenses shall be made in conformance with the provisions of the ordinance relating to licenses. (Ord. 84-6 § 1, 1984)
5.116.030 Fee.
The annual fee to be paid for such licenses shall be eight hundred eighty dollars, and no such license shall be issued for any period less than a full calendar year; provided, however, that if application for such license is made at any time after the month of May in any fiscal year, the license may be prorated on a monthly basis to the end of the fiscal year. 5.116.040 Business hours.
No licensee shall pursue the occupation described in RMC 5.116.010 except Monday through Saturday, nor shall such occupation be pursued on any Sunday or on a legal holiday as defined by statute. (Ord. 84-6 § 1, 1984)
5.116.050 Vehicles.
Every vehicle used by a licensee in the conduct of his business shall bear thereon, in legible characters, the name and address of the owner and proprietor thereof. (Ord. 84-6 § 1, 1984)
