14.08.010 County provisions adopted by reference.

A.    The City adopts the provisions of Chapter 3A, Alarms, of the Montgomery County Code and of the Montgomery County Executive Regulations on Policies, Procedures, and Fees for Alarm Businesses and Alarm Users, as amended from time-to-time.

B.    The City designates the Montgomery County Department of Police as the “enforcing agency” to enforce the provisions of Chapter 3A, Alarms, of the Montgomery County Code and its concurrent Executive Regulations in the City. Any references to “police response” in Chapter 3A, Alarms, of the Montgomery County Code and is concurrent Executive Regulations in the City shall mean response by the Takoma Park Police Department.

C.    The Takoma Park Police Department shall dispatch and handle all calls for service in reference to alarm calls in the City. (Ord. 2001-40 § 2 (A)—(C), 2001)
