WARD BOUNDARIES

1.16.010 Generally.
The boundaries and designation of the four wards of the city are established as set out in Sections 1.16.020 through 1.16.050. (Ord. 2996 §1(part), 2010: Ord. 2811 §2(part), 1998)
1.16.020 Ward I.
The area within Cottage Grove city limits that is bound on the north and west by the city limits boundary line, on the east by the Coast Fork of the Willamette River and the south by the northernmost boundary line of the Bohemia West, First Addition subdivision and the easterly and westerly extension thereof. 1.16.030 Ward II.
The area within Cottage Grove city limits that is bound on the north and east by the city limits boundary line, on the west by the Coast Fork of the Willamette River, East Main Street between the Coast Fork and Goshen-Divide Highway (US Highway 99) and Goshen-Divide Highway (US Highway 99) from East Main Street south and on the south by the centerline of East Madison Avenue from South 10th Street to Gateway Boulevard, the easterly and westerly extension thereof. 1.16.040 Ward III.
The area within Cottage Grove city limits that is bound on the south and west by the city limits boundary line, on the east by the Goshen-Divide Highway (US Highway 99) and on the north by the northernmost boundary line of the Bohemia West, First Addition subdivision, and the westerly extension thereof, the easterly extension thereof to the Coast Fork of the Willamette River, the Coast Fork of the Willamette River and East Main Street. 1.16.050 Ward IV.
The area within Cottage Grove city limits that is bound on the south and east by the city limits boundary line, on the west by the Goshen-Divide Highway (US Highway 99) and on the north by the centerline of East Madison Avenue between South 10th Street and Gateway Boulevard and the easterly and westerly extension thereof. 1.16.060 Ward modifications.
At least every five years the city council shall review ward boundaries and may consider possible modifications to reflect population distribution, growth and other demographics or characteristics impacting the wards. (Ord. 2996 §1(part), 2010)
