MOBILE RETAIL FOOD VENDORS

5.08.010 Fee.
Portable food retail vendors, operating their business within the confines of the city limits of the city of Culver, shall pay a yearly fee at the rate authorized by city council resolution. [Ord. 1205 § 1, 1993; Ord. 1203 § 1, 1990; Ord. 1202 § 1, 1989.]
5.08.020 Operating defined.
“Operating” shall consist of any sales in any particular month. If the sale is only for part-month, nevertheless, the business shall pay for that full month. [Ord. 1202 § 2, 1989.]
5.08.030 Record of sales.
Any persons subject to the requirements of this chapter shall make available upon notice any record of their sales made within the city limits and provide dates of sales from the records of sales as kept in their normal bookkeeping. [Ord. 1202 § 3, 1989.]
5.08.040 Violation – Penalty.
Any party found in violation of this chapter for having failed to pay for the previous month’s operation shall be subject to an additional penalty of $25.00 for each month that constitutes more than 30 days beyond the previous month’s date due for payment. Said penalties shall be instituted after the city recorder has provided the vendor with a written notice of demand notifying the vendor that vendor has 10 days to bring current all licensing fees imposed by this chapter, or the $25.00 penalty shall apply. Penalties shall apply for each month of delinquency provided in any notice by the city recorder and may be cumulative. [Ord. 1202 § 4, 1989.]
