12.25.010 Overnight use of motor vehicles.
The overnight use of motor vehicles for camping and living purposes is prohibited within the city limits, except as provided in GMC 12.25.020. “Motor vehicles” has the same meaning as provided in state law and further includes any camping trailer, recreational vehicles or boat parked on a trailer which may be used for overnight sleeping. 12.25.020 Permitted uses and requirements.
A. The overnight use of motor vehicles is allowed in organized camping and recreational vehicle parks within the city.
B. The overnight use of motor vehicles is allowed in residential areas so long as the adjacent landowner consents to the parking of the vehicle. In no event shall a motor vehicle be used for overnight camping longer than seven days without special permission of the city council.
C. No motor vehicle shall discharge any waste water or solid waste in the streets, public ways or upon private property, except directly into a sanitary sewer specifically designed for such use. [Ord. 150 § 2, 1987.]
