1.12.010 Handling and care of prisoners.

The City does not have facilities nor a staff for the handling of prisoners in the City Jail, and whereas RCW 35.27.320 authorizes towns and counties to have town prisoners kept in the County Jail under certain circumstances, it is hereby provided that the City Council may enter into a contract with the county of Spokane for the handling of prisoners of the City upon such terms and conditions as to the City Council seem reasonable and just.
