AMBULANCE FUND

3.23.040 Administration authority.
3.23.010 Established.
There is established in the treasury of the city a fund to be known as the ambulance fund. (Ord. 585 § 2 (part), 2008)
3.23.020 Revenues.
The revenues to be placed in this fund shall be two-thirds of all funds received by the city pursuant to the city ambulance utility service charge established and collected pursuant to Chapter 12.24 of the Bridgeport Municipal Code, together with two-thirds of all other monies received by the city, including funds received as a result of customer billings, related to the city ambulance utility operation. 3.23.030 Use.
Funds in the ambulance fund are to be used for the operation, repair and maintenance of the city ambulance service, including but not limited to, for all operational expenses, training expenses, repairs and maintenance of ambulances and equipment necessary to operate the city ambulance utility. 3.23.040 Administration authority.
The city clerk/treasurer is designated and the official whose duty it is to administer the fund. (Ord. 585 § 2 (part), 2008)
