AMBULANCE RESERVE FUND

3.24.040 Administration authority.
3.24.010 Established.
There is established in the treasury of the city a fund to be known as the ambulance reserve fund. (Ord. 585 § 3 (part), 2008)
3.24.020 Revenues.
The revenues to be placed in this fund shall be one-third of all funds received by the city pursuant to the city ambulance utility service charge established and collected pursuant to Chapter 12.24 of the Bridgeport Municipal Code. In addition, any grant funds received by the city for the purpose of purchasing, substantially refurbishing or reconstructing its ambulances shall be deposited into this fund. 3.24.030 Use.
These funds are to be used for the replacement of city ambulances or for capital expenditures for upgrades to city ambulances and equipment, not including structures, as approved by the city council. (Ord. 585 § 3 (part), 2008)
3.24.040 Administration authority.
The city clerk/treasurer is designated as the official whose duty it is to administer the fund. (Ord. 585 § 3 (part), 2008)
