COMMUNITY SERVICE COORDINATOR

2.84.010 Office established – Duties.
The office of community service coordinator is established. The duty of the community service coordinator shall be as follows:
(1) Seeking out community service organizations willing to occupy space in the Buckley Multi-purpose Center; and
(2) Advising the mayor and council with regards to programs which will assist the elderly, low income, handicapped, and disadvantaged persons within the city; and
(3) Assisting the above-referenced groups in obtaining funding and/or services if available from other governmental agencies; and
(4) Implementing and managing any community service programs that are requested to be implemented by the mayor; and
(5) Such other and further duties as the mayor may from time to time delegate to the coordinator. (Ord. 1018 § 1, 1981).
2.84.020 Appointment.
The community service coordinator shall be appointed by the mayor and serve at his pleasure. (Ord. 1018 § 2, 1981).
2.84.030 Compensation.
The community service coordinator shall be compensated in an amount to be determined by the city council. (Ord. 1018 § 3, 1981).
