7.03.010 Adult dog.
“Adult dog” means a dog two months of age or older. (Ord. 2151 § 1 (part), 2005: Ord. 2131 § 2 (part), 2004: Ord. 1683 § 3 (part), 1989).
7.03.015 Animal control authority.
“Animal control authority” means the Centralia police department or any agency the city may authorize to enforce animal control provisions. (Ord. 2131 § 2 (part), 2004).
7.03.017 Animal control officer.
“Animal control officer” means any commissioned officer of the Centralia police department or specially commissioned officer of the department commissioned to enforce all state and local laws regarding animals within the city limits or other areas as established by interlocal agreement. (Ord. 2131 § 2 (part), 2004).
7.03.020 Animal shelter.
“Animal shelter” means a facility used to care for homeless, unwanted or confiscated animals by a governmental entity, animal welfare society or other organization or person devoted to the welfare, protection and humane treatment of animals. (Ord. 2151 § 1 (part), 2005: Ord. 2131 § 2 (part), 2004: Ord. 1683 § 3 (part), 1989).
7.03.030 Grooming parlor.
“Grooming parlor” means a facility where animals are bathed, clipped or combed for compensation and primarily for hygienic or aesthetic reasons. (Ord. 2151 § 1 (part), 2005: Ord. 2131 § 2 (part), 2004: Ord. 1683 § 3 (part), 1989).
7.03.040 Livestock.
“Livestock” means horses, bovine animals, sheep, goats, swine, chickens, ducks, turkeys, donkeys and mules. (Ord. 2151 § 1 (part), 2005: Ord. 2131 § 2 (part), 2004: Ord. 1683 § 3 (part), 1989).
