1.320.010 Petty cash fund established.
(a) The board of county commissioners authorizes the director/county engineer to draw an additional revolving fund in the amount of one hundred dollars by warrant, charged to advance expenditures loaned to be used solely as a petty cash fund for small isolated purchases instead of the more costly voucher-warrant method of payment. The use of this fund is limited to expenditures properly chargeable to the budget of solid waste. Detailed, signed receipts must be secured to substantiate each payment from the petty cash fund and be kept with the cash, so that the cash, signed receipts and vouchers in process of payment total one hundred dollars at all times.
(b) Said petty cash fund shall be reimbursed monthly by voucher, payable to solid waste petty cash fund, which shall have attached the individual signed receipts. (Res. 99-118 (part), 9/20/99).
1.320.020 Solid waste revolving change fund.
The board authorizes the Dryden Transfer Station operator to be custodian of the revolving fund in the amount of three hundred dollars to be known as the “solid waste revolving change fund.”
The solid waste revolving change fund shall be used only for making change for solid waste fees. (Res. 2007-109, 7/24/07; Res. 98-106, 9/8/98).
