1.88.010 Data processing use plan—Equipment capabilities.
The initial comprehensive data processing use plan is as follows: The equipment procured for data processing should have the following capabilities: creating, storing and maintaining files for the following function and the ability to extract this information in usable form; the assessor’s name and address file, master tax file and cross reference files; the treasurer’s name and address file, tax billing file, tax receipts records and general accounting capabilities; the county auditor’s payroll file, budgeting file, cash accounts and voters registration records; commissioner’s property inventory file. In addition, the system must have the capability of expansion at minimum cost to accommodate other functions of county government. (Res. 75-G (part), October 15, 1973 at Vol. E pages 82, 83).
1.88.020 Created—Function.
There shall be created, effective January 1, 1974, a county central services department to be named “Chelan County Central Services Department” whose function is to provide data processing service to the various departments of Chelan County and operate pursuant to RCW 36.92.030. 1.88.040 Duties.
The authorized duties of the Chelan County central services department may be amended from time to time by county commissioners resolution. (Res. 75-G (part), October 15, 1973 at Vol. E pages 82, 83).
