8.08.010 Maximum weights per tire.
Pursuant to authority granted under RCW 36.75.270, all vehicular traffic except emergency vehicles or other vehicles possessing a special permit issued by the county engineer or designee and traveling on weight restricted roads in Chelan County shall be limited to the weights per tire as shown in the following table:

8.08.020 Restrictions effective when.
These restrictions shall become effective upon publication in the official paper of Chelan County and the posting of such notices on county roads to be restricted, and the same shall remain and be in effect for a period of one hundred twenty days, unless such period be shortened or extended by resolution of the board of county commissioners of Chelan County. 8.08.030 Enforcement procedures and penalties adopted.
The enforcement procedures and penalties established in RCW 46.44.105 as now stated and as may be amended are hereby adopted by Chelan County as the enforcement procedures and penalties for any person who violates this chapter. 8.08.040 Recovery of damages.
The county shall consider seeking recovery of damages for road repair from any person found to have violated this chapter, in addition to and not as limitation of any other remedies at law or in equity to which the county is entitled. 8.08.050 Emergency winter restrictions.
Emergency winter restrictions may be placed on any county road that, in the opinion of the Chelan County engineer, should be so restricted, without further resolution of the board of county commissioners during the aforementioned one-hundred-twenty-day period.
