9.06.060 Unlawful daytime camping and habitation in vehicles.

(1)    Daytime Camping and Habitation in Vehicles Prohibited. Except as otherwise provided within this chapter, during the hours of 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., it shall be unlawful for any person to occupy a vehicle for the purpose of camping or habitating while that vehicle is parked in the following areas:

(a)    Any county-owned or maintained building, parking lot or other county-owned or maintained area, improved or unimproved.

(2)    Violation of subsection (1) of this section is a misdemeanor.

(3)    Unless otherwise subject to custodial arrest under RCW 10.31.100, persons subject to enforcement under subsection (1) of this section shall be cited, instructed to appear at community court and released rather than being booked into jail. (Sec. 7 of Ord. 2023-11-02)
