9.06.070 Unlawful storage of personal property in public places.
(1) Except as otherwise provided within this chapter, during the hours of 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., it shall be unlawful for any person to store personal property, including campsite and outside habitation facilities (other than vehicles) and camp and outside habitation paraphernalia, in the following areas:
(a) Any road, street, or right-of-way; or
(b) Any publicly owned or maintained parking lot or publicly owned or maintained area, improved or unimproved.
(2) Violation of subsection (1) of this section is a misdemeanor.
(3) Unless otherwise subject to custodial arrest under RCW 10.31.100, persons subject to enforcement under subsection (1) of this section shall be cited, instructed to appear at community court and released rather than being booked into jail. (Sec. 8 of Ord. 2023-11-02)
