9.28.040 Use of public litter receptacles.

Litter receptacles placed on sidewalks and other public places shall be used only for such litter material as persons may have for disposal while passing along the street or other public places, including but not limited to beverage containers, food wrappers, and the contents of litter bags. Litter receptacles shall not be used for disposal of solid waste accumulated in homes or businesses. (Sec. 10 of Ord. 1988-08-36)
