10.08A.040 Use of county roads restricted.
(1) Generally.
(a) Non-haul routes shall be open to all vehicles whose gross weight (vehicle and load) is less than or equal to seventy-five percent (75%) of the weight limits provided in RCW 46.44.041, as amended;
(b) Except as provided in Clark County Code Sections 10.08A.050, 10.08A.070 and 10.08A.090, all vehicles transporting loads that exceed seventy-five percent (75%) of the weight limits provided in RCW 46.44.041, as amended, shall use designated haul routes.
(2) Location of Haul Routes. Haul routes, as defined in Clark County Code Section 10.08A.030(1), include all urban arterials located on the most recent arterial map filed as a part of the comprehensive plan and the same are incorporated in this subsection as if set forth in their entirety. In addition, the director of public services shall delineate on the urban arterial map those urban collectors with an average daily traffic load of over ten thousand (10,000) vehicles and all rural collectors.
(3) Limitation on Use of Haul Routes.
(a) All haul routes listed in subsection (4) shall be limited to the same load restrictions as non-haul routes as set forth in subsection (1) above;
(b) Loads must be evenly distributed.
(4) List of Restricted Haul Routes.
(a) Urban.
(i) S.E. Mill Plain between N.E. 120th Avenue and N.E. 164th Avenue;
(ii) S.E. Ellsworth Road between SR-14 and Evergreen Highway;
(iii) N.W. 99th Street between N.W. 21st Avenue and Lakeshore Avenue;
(iv) N.E. Fourth Plain between N.E. 112th Avenue and N.E. 117th Avenue;
(v) N.E. 28th Street between N.E. 112th Avenue and N.E. 124th Avenue.
(b) Rural.
(i) Pup Creek Road/County Road 20 between County Road 16 and Spurrel Road;
(ii) Hoff Road from NE Grantham Road to Munch Road.
(iii) N.E. 61st Avenue/J.A. Moore Road/N.E. Charity Road/N.E. 40th Avenue from N.E. Bennett Road to N.E. Lockwood Creek Road.
