24.12.370 Education and outreach.

The Clark County public health solid waste program is responsible for:

(1)    Providing technical assistance and education regarding the use of compost to Clark County departments and staff;

(2)    Conducting educational outreach to inform residents about the value of compost and how Clark County uses compost in its operations each year; and

(3)    Reporting the total estimated tons of organic material diverted from the Clark County waste stream because of compost use under this chapter. (Sec. 3 of Ord. 2023-03-06)
