HEAVY INDUSTRIAL ZONE (HI-1)1

18.55.010 Purpose.
The purpose of this chapter providing for the establishment of an HI-1 zone is as follows:
A. To establish standards for the height and size of buildings, the areas and dimensions of yards and open spaces.
B. To provide for facilities to minimize traffic congestion and hazards.
C. To provide for facilities and the operation of heavy industries to minimize noise, vibration, water, and air pollution and fire and safety hazards in the HI-1 zone.
D. To provide areas within Columbia County that would be compatible to heavy industrial type uses. [Ord. 2015-02 § 2; Ord. 95-01 § 15; Ord. 90-02 § 14.]
