RECREATIONAL AND WATERSHED ZONES1
Sections:
18.60.010 Purpose.
The purpose of this chapter, providing for the establishment of an R-1 zone, is as follows:
A. To provide for areas within Columbia County devoted primarily for recreational uses.
The purpose of this chapter, providing for the establishment of a W-1 zone, is as follows:
A. To facilitate the conservation of land, water, and other natural resources.
B. To reduce the possibility of soil erosion.
C. To reduce the hazards from floods and fire.
D. To protect the quality and quantity of water originating from this area in the interest of the public health, safety, and general welfare of the citizens of Columbia County and the city of Dayton.
