2.08.010 Procedure – Qualifications of voters.

All elections in the city shall be held in accordance with the general election laws of the state, so far as the same may be applicable, and no person shall be entitled to vote at such election unless he is a qualified elector of the county and shall have resided in the city for at least 30 days next preceding such election. (Prior code § 1.08.020).

2.08.020 Wards.

The city shall be divided into three wards, each separate ward to include the territory described as follows:

A. Ward No. 1 shall include all territory in the corporate city limits lying north of Third Avenue.

B. Ward No. 2 shall include all territory lying south of Third Avenue and north of the line described as follows:

Commencing at the west city limits of Columbia Avenue, as extended west of the city limits, to Main Street, thence south to Dominion Avenue, thence east to Hofstetter Street, thence north to Columbia Avenue, thence east to the east city limits.

C. Ward No. 3 shall include all territory in the corporate city limits lying south of the following described line:

Commencing at the west city limits of Columbia Avenue, as extended west of said city limits, to Main Street, thence south to Dominion Avenue, thence east to Hofstetter Street, thence north to Columbia Avenue, thence east to the east city limits.
