9.16.010 Rules for the Concrete Airport – Enforcement – Penalty.
(1) Vehicles may not be driven on manicured lawns. In this case, aircraft are not to be considered vehicles. Load and unload is the exception (to the adjacent hangars).
(2) The space between the southernmost row of hangars and the grass runway is designated as a vehicle passageway east/west from the ramp to the eastern boundary of the Concrete Airport. This strip of land is about 150 feet wide and as long as you don’t travel on the grass runway there is no problem. The grass runway is the strip of land adjacent to the runway pavement to the north. It is 50 feet wide and extends from the eastern run-up area to the ramp at midfield.
(3) The improvements made by individuals to enhance the Concrete Airports’ appearance are the property of the town of Concrete and will be respected and not damaged in any way. The town of Concrete will enforce its malicious mischief ordinance.
(4) All taxiways and fire lanes shall be kept free of obstruction, including trees and fences.
(5) These rules are enforceable by town of Concrete officials. Violators may be subject to fines and/or arrest. [Ord. 550 §§ 1, 2, 2005; Ord. 505 § 1, 2003]
Article II. Trespassing
9.16.020 Authority to restrict access at municipal airport.
The mayor or his designee is hereby authorized to designate all or any portion of the Concrete Municipal Airport, including buildings thereon, to be restricted from access or entry by unauthorized persons. The mayor or is designee shall clearly post any portion of the airport or building thereon which is restricted from access or entry by unauthorized persons with an appropriate sign or notice of the restriction, and which is plainly visible. 9.16.030 Trespass of municipal airport.
It is unlawful for any person or persons, without prior authorization, to enter upon any portion of the Concrete Municipal Airport, or into any building thereon which has been posted as provided in CMC 9.16.020. Any person violating this section shall be guilty of a crime. [Ord. 405 § 2, 1996]
9.16.040 Penalty.
Any person convicted of a crime under this chapter shall be punished by a fine not to exceed $5,000 or imprisonment not to exceed one year in jail, or by both such fine and imprisonment. [Ord. 405 § 3, 1996]
