8.25.010 Prohibited – Exceptions.
All sale, use and/or possession of fireworks within the town of Coulee Dam is hereby banned and declared unlawful until the council, by ordinance, lifts the ban; provided, however, that public displays of fireworks as defined in RCW 70.77.160 may be permitted upon the issuance of a proper permit and the posting of bonds and proof of liability insurance, and meeting all other rules and regulations as set forth in Chapter 70.77 RCW. (Ord. 411 § 1, 1992)
8.25.020 Violation – Penalty.
A violation of this emergency chapter shall be deemed a civil infraction and any person, firm or corporation found to have committed such a civil infraction shall be assessed a monetary penalty not to exceed $500.00 for each offense; and in addition to such imposition of penalty, anyone violating this emergency chapter shall be liable for all costs of damage and injury proximately caused by the violation as well as all costs and expenses of fire suppression.
