2.04.010 Regular meetings – Times.
The regular meetings of the city council shall be held on the second and fourth Wednesdays in each month. All regular city council meetings will be held at 7:00 p.m. throughout the year. If at any time any regular meeting falls on a holiday, such regular meeting shall be held on the next business day. (Ord. 721 § 1, 1993; Ord. 681 § 1, 1990; Ord. 656 § 1, 1988; Ord. 108 § 1, 1905).
2.04.020 Special meetings.
Special meetings may be called at any time in accordance with the provisions of RCW 42.30.080. (Ord. 656 § 2, 1988; Ord. 108 § 2, 1905).
2.04.030 Location of meetings.
All meetings of the city council both regular and special shall be held within the corporate limits of the city and all such meetings shall be public and posted as law requires. (Ord. 681 § 2, 1990; Ord. 108 § 3, 1905).
2.04.040 Order of business.
In all meetings of the city council unless otherwise ordered the business of the city council shall be conducted in the following order:
(1) Call to order;
(2) Roll call;
(3) Pledge of Allegiance;
(4) Invocation;
(5) Reading of previous meeting’s minutes;
(6) Police report;
(7) Committee reports;
(8) Mayor’s report;
(9) Executive session
(10) Old business;
(11) New business;
(12) Bills; and
(13) Adjournment. (Ord. 1087 § 1, 2015; Ord. 656 § 3, 1988; Ord. 108 § 4, 1905).
