2.10.010 Appointive offices.
The offices of the city administrator, clerk-treasurer, maintenance superintendent and that of the city attorney shall be appointive offices from this time forward. (Ord. 986 § 1, 2007; Ord. 450 § 1, 1974).
2.10.015 Office of clerk and treasurer combined.
(a) The office of treasurer shall be combined with the office of clerk.
(b) The elected position of city treasurer shall be abolished effective with the expiration of the term of the city treasurer which expires 12:00 midnight, December 31, 1977. (Ord. 986 § 1, 2007; Ord. 480 §§ 1, 2, 1977).
2.10.020 Appointment – Confirmation.
The city administrator, clerk-treasurer, maintenance superintendent and the city attorney shall be appointed by the mayor, which appointments shall be subject to confirmation by a majority vote of the city council. (Ord. 986 § 1, 2007; Ord. 450 § 2, 1974).
2.10.030 Nonspecified terms.
The offices of the city administrator, clerk-treasurer, maintenance superintendent and the city attorney shall not be appointive for a specific term. (Ord. 986 § 1, 2007; Ord. 450 § 3, 1974).
2.10.040 Authority to invest funds.
Authority has been given to the city administrator and the clerk-treasurer to invest funds for the city. (Ord. 986 § 1, 2007; Ord. 590 § 1, 1984).
