17.12.040 Principal land use zones.
This section gives a general description of the land use zones and permitted uses within the boundaries of the city of Davenport. Refer to Table 17.40.010 for permitted and conditional land uses (DMC 17.40.010). Following are the meanings of the codes:
P = Permitted outright
C = Conditional use
Blank = Not permitted
All proposed uses require the submittal of a land use application (DMC 17.76.070 and 17.76.080) and shall meet the general provisions and specific standards (DMC 17.76.060). A use permitted only as a conditional use must also apply for, and receive a conditional use permit (DMC 17.48.040). A manufactured home park and a recreational vehicle park, having spaces for rent or lease, must also submit and have approved a binding site plan (DMC Title 14, Mobile Homes and Recreational Vehicle Parks, and DMC Title 16, Subdivisions).
Unlisted or unclassified uses may be added to a zone, with prior approval of the planning commission. (Ord. 669, 1990).
