17.96.010 Zoning inspector – Appointment – Salary – Powers and duties.
The position of zoning inspector shall be appointed by the mayor with the recommendation from the city council and planning commission. His/her salary shall be set forth by the city council through the process of budget. His/her job classification and description shall be set forth by the city council in the personnel policy manual. (Ord. 708 § 4, 1992).
17.96.020 Violation – Complaint filing and investigation.
Whenever a violation of this title occurs, any person may file a complaint. All zoning complaints shall be in writing to the mayor, who shall investigate the complaint with the parties involved and seek a solution. If no remedy of the complaint can be achieved, the mayor shall forward their findings to the planning commission and the city council. (Ord. 1143 § 1, 2019; Ord. 708 § 4, 1992).
17.96.030 Violation – Notice.
Notice shall be provided in accordance with DMC 19.100.050. (Ord. 1143 § 1, 2019; Ord. 708 § 4, 1992).
17.96.040 Violation – Penalty.
Any person found guilty of violating this chapter shall be punished pursuant to the provisions of DMC Title 19. (Ord. 1143 § 1, 2019; Ord. 829 § 1, 1998; Ord. 708 § 4, 1992).
