2.42.010 Retirement—Compensation.

Police officers retiring from the police department with twenty years or more service shall at the time of their retirement receive, as due compensation, their department issue (duty weapon) and badge. (Ord. 1217-85 § 1, 1985)

2.42.020 Death—Compensation.

In the event of death from any cause at any time while in service with the police department, final compensation to the deceased officer shall include his/her department issue (duty weapon) and badge which shall be provided to his/her nearest surviving relative or heir. (Ord. 1217-85 § 2, 1985)

2.42.030 Disability—Compensation.

Officers having less than twenty years service retiring for duty-incurred disability as a result of criminal attack, shall receive, as included in their compensation, their department issue (duty weapon) and badge. (Ord. 1217-85 § 3, 1985)
